The borrel schedule is a bit discombobulated this term – but for fantastic speakers like Stephanie Ward & London Network President Michelle Brailsford – we are willing to toast on different days, right?!

So – thanks to the usual suspects for checking in with the on line updates and stay tuned for another fabulous occasion to work your network: up close & in person.  You don’t have to wait for special introductions  - we will facilitate to be sure you meet the folks that may be helpful in your network.

Especially welcome to join this particular borrel are folks interested in getting a head start on 4th quarter goal setting by coming to discuss your mentor/mentee wishes.

Join EuropeanPWN-Amsterdam borrel coordinator Anna Farrenkopf in a toast to the new programming year and celebration of third quarter conquests ahead of us.  Questions about the organization, programming, climate change, all will be answered.  Networking – meeting new folks from around the Netherlands and the globe is our focus.

We’ll arrange the boats in Akkrum. We’ll host you at our home or nearby (depends on the number of folks that want to sail). Please indicate if you are qualified to skipper a boat yourself or if you prefer to crew. Both Mireille & myself are qualified sailing instructors so the two of us can manage a total of 8 folks ourselves: more if we get more skippers.

Come for the weekend to Friesland.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON (21 August)
We’ve picked an out-of-doors Opera in a nearby nature preserve for Friday evening. You are responsible for the tickets independent of the sailing. Please contact them directly before the 20th of July in
Amsterdam and do let us know you need a sleeping place.

We’ll begin with an easy brunch and walk over to the harbor.
This will also give folks a chance to arrive from Amsterdam (2.25 hrs by train, 1.75 hrs by car).

SUNDAY Morning sailing again for the die-hards.

SUNDAY Afternoon/Evening departure back to Amsterdam

Join Nicole, Commodore of the St. Nik Boating club and borrel host Anna for a fabulous evening on an open boat on the Amsterdam Canals. Bring a sweater/windbreaker. We’ll meet rain or shine at the Boom Chicago Bar on the Leidseplein by 19:30. Early birds can join us for a pre-sail cocktail beginning 18:30.

You get sea sick just looking at boats? but want to network, then join after the trip for a night cap beginning 21:45 back at the Boom Bar.
