Ghost Story Borrel

Oct ’10
28
19:00

Wondering what that horrible noise is outside your window?

It’s merely the ghost of Peter Stuyvesant,  the last governor of New Amsterdam. He’s not alone. As Halloween approaches, dozens of historic spirits and ghouls will be popping up in the strangest places and Lisa Lipkin wants to tell you all about it.

For over 20 years, Ms. Lipkin worked as a professional storyteller, bringing New York’s rich history to life before starting Story Strategies (Storystrategies.net), a consultancy that helps organizations find and tell their core stories.

One of her favorite shows, Ghosts on the Hudson, explores the historic Dutch ghosts which continue to haunt New York today. Join her as she regales you with some deliciously scary tales. Not for the faint-hearted.

If you have a ghost story to share, bring it along! Participation is welcome.

Venue details to be confirmed – please register with the above link and I’ll send you the latest update when I return from abroad.
