Hi Anna, Can you tell me about who attends the Amsterdam Borrel vs the The Hague one. Is there overlap of people, more, less. thanks for your insight.

Hi Sue,
yes – I keep an eye on these sorts of things. There is “some” overlap with who attends The Hague borrel and who comes to Amsterdam for events and borrels. I would say the two groups are very different when taken as a whole but the core is fairly homogeneous. I will publish more detailed information in an upcoming article to be posted on this website. I guarantee nearly 100% of all residents of the Hague that participate in Amsterdam also come to the borrel in the Hague. This is not true of the Amsterdam folks. Amsterdam folks are more likely (statistically speaking) to go to an event than a borrel. The folks in Den Haag on average – are more socially motivated and the ones in Amsterdam more professionally motivated to attend our programming. This so far is based on anecdotal evidence. I have not yet systematically analyzed the data. Borrel attendees have a higher likelihood of being active participants in the network. Summer borrel attendees have nearly a 100% conversion rate from guests to members.
