Anna has been coordinating the borrel since 2005. She enjoys searching out new restaurants, cocktail bars and exploring the Netherlands. She welcomes all suggestions to share in your favorite places. Member suggestions brought us all over Amsteram and as far as Enschede, Paris and London! By daytime Anna is a research and development chemist specializing in hardware and software debugging. She has been recently involved in quality control and quality assurance for an instrumentation manufacturer but her personal life required (1) a sabbatical and (2) relocation to Friesland: summer is coming and she is a passionate sail racing crew. Camilla is a Project Management professional employed by Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services since 2001. Currently she is supporting the leadership team with a strategic European initiative involving 22 European countries, and her expertise lies in communication, cross-cultural business, change management and business development. Camilla returned to the Amstelveen office in 2007 after having worked in the Princeton, New Jersey office for approximately 3 years. Her years in the US as a Product Manager, involved her working with teams across most of North America. Prior to working for Deloitte NL she was employed by Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies, erVenture Capitals and Viking Line (cruise line) in Finland.
Camilla is a Swedish-speaking Finn who has lived most of her life abroad. She graduated from a European Business Administration double-degree program in both Finland and the Netherlands. Camilla was a member of EPWN years 2002-2005 and after returning 2007 till present. She was elected as the Secretary of the Board EPWN-Amsterdam Chapter, June 2008 and VP Corporate and Student Membership in March 2009.
Eleonore Breukel is Managing Director of Intercultural Communication BV, an intercultural training and coaching firm. She assists global organizations and their people to develop cultural intelligence and enhance professional effectiveness in working in an international environment with multicultural clients and colleagues. Eleonore frequently speaks at conferences and gives guest lectures. She published over a 100 culture related articles, authored a book on ‘How to do business in 19 countries’ and coauthored The Cultural Detective The Netherlands, an intercultural training tool used by leading global organizations.
Erika loves to network and to bring international people together. After having lived and worked 10 years in the Algarve in Portugal and 7 years in the City of London, this Dutch born girl returned to Holland in 2004 and is therefore known as a “Repat”. In 2006 she started her own company, 'BOTH Assistance & Support', which offers a wide range of administrative support to companies, to individual households, and also to Expats. No job is too big or too small. She works both “on location” and provides virtual support from her own office. She creates and manages effective and efficient administrative systems while providing coaching for the administratively-impaired. She teaches and implements self-sustaining organisational systems for individuals and for companies. Fluent in Dutch, English and Portuguese, Erika joined the borrel team at the end of 2009 when we combined efforts with Connecting Women in The Hague.
Lidia is an full time MBA student at Rotterdam School of Management and a President of Women in Management Club. Originally from Estonia, Lidia has been studying, traveling and living in different countries for the past 13 years. Her biggest passion is horses and their psychology.
Pamela was born and raised in New York City, USA and has been living in the Netherlands for a little over a year. She is currently working as Media Manager at a fashion brand. Her previous experience includes agency experience in Amsterdam and in the US working at NBC Universal as Midwest Sales Director, Ambient Planet as an Account Manager, and Smith Barney/Citigroup in Wealth Management. She has extensive experience in Communications, Business Development, and Event Planning.
